A woollen carpet handcrafted by different Nepalese artisans.
Made in a limited edition of 36 signed, numbered examples.
As the carpet is made by hand, there are slight variations in the dimensions of the single items.
The lengthy manufacturing process starts with the shearing of the traditionally reared sheep. The wool is then spun and dyed, and the carefully selected wool fibres are washed.
The knots used by the craftsmen is the Tibetan “Senneh”, different from the Persian and the Turkish one.
The rug is realized in Uma quality.
The carpets made in this way are brightly coloured, and each pattern is unique.
The carpets may be made in different sizes on request, but will always be produced in the proportions shown in the catalogue.
The product is purchased with authenticity certificate and guarantee stamp.
